Minnetoka Paradise

This holiday break has been sort of like a snow day for grown ups.  One of the things I miss most about cold weather and getting snowed in is that it provides you with the perfect excuse to laze around all day drinking tea and coffee, listening to music, watching movies, and reading.  The things I wish occupied all of my time but unfortunately usually get pushed to the back burner while I engage in the Rat Race.

 



I managed to find the time to see nearly all of the awards-season films I was looking forward to (Somewhere has been the biggest let-down, and The King's Speech earns my vote for most surprisingly engaging...if that's a category), read a lot of Harry Potter, drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of comfort food.  I even squeezed in (brief) outdoor encounters.  I'm very proud of my non-accomplishments. 

A much needed rest, and now back to the Rat Race with more energy to spin around the wheel.
